The mix

+ 30 mL Merry Ripe Gin
+ 30 mL Campari
+ 30 mL Sweet Vermouth such as 1757
+ Tiny pinch salt

The make
  • Place two large blocks of ice 
  • Add all ingredients and stir for 20 to 30 seconds
  • Place large cube of ice in a lowball/rocks glass
  • Strain into serving glass 
  • Add dash of chocolate bitters (optional)
  • Garnish with fresh or glazed cherry
