First and foremost, Valley Road loves to sing together, using their voices to draw out the emotion in a song in a way that goes straight to the heart. Longtime friends Bec & Marty have spent years sharing music around the kitchen table at Marty's sheep farm.
Their love of folk in all its forms is reflected in their thoughtful songwriting, sparkling guitar lines and easeful vocal harmonies. Their songs are rich in imagery, containing echoes of the dry bush and rolling basalt hills of Central Victoria.
Contemporary pop-indie-folk storyteller Sadie Mustoe delivers twisting melodies that will draw you into a world of magical realism.
The Queenscliff Music Festival’s ‘Foot-in-the-Door’ 2022 winner, Sadie creates something organic that could be the soundtrack for any modern fantasy story - full of colour, epic sounds and evocative lyrics.
She is the up-and-coming Australian artist to keep your eyes on and she's performing live for you at our Distillery Bar.

Moody, cinematic and emotionally charged, Blue Ren invites listeners into a world where every lyric holds weight and every melody lingers long after the song ends.
Based in Ballarat and mentored by Australian music icon Lior, Blue Ren uses music as a mirror to explore both her inner landscape and the world around her. Her songs are deeply personal yet universally resonant, blurring the line between artist and audience.

Freya and Tom McGowan are a daughter/dad duo from Ballarat who have performed at some of Victoria’s most loved festivals.
As a 15 year old songwriter living in a regional area, Freya’s lyrics provide listeners with a glimpse into themes that are central to her experiences. Combined with Tom’s emotive guitar lines, their sound is a rich tapestry that reflects the broad range of artists that Freya has grown up listening to.
