The mix

+ 60mL Goldfields Single Malt
+ 15mL 1:1 sugar syrup
+ 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

The make

  • Place all ingredients in a 'stirring' glass with two large ice cubes
  • Stir for 20-30 seconds
  • Strain onto a large ice cube in a lowball/rocks glass
  • Garnish with Maraschino cherry and orange slice
